I wanted our first hide to be awesome and when I saw this place, I knew it was it! I couldn't believe there wasn't a cache already here. If you get a chance, come see this "tank"! Growing up as a kid with the now retired space program, seeing anything to do with the shuttle was mind blowing. To have this unused external fuel tank just sitting here is a sight to see. Being able to walk up and touch it is amazing. To know that this was made to fuel the space shuttle, blast off into space and not come back is pretty cool. This originally was going to a museum in Keystone Heights, but due to its size, has not been able to go because of logistics and money. (The knowledgeable guys at the near by military museum told me a lot about it.) Here is a link to how it got where it is. https://ktownspirit.wordpress.com/2013/05/31/nasas-external-fuel-tank-is-grounded-at-green-cove-springs-florida/ You are looking for a large container with room for lots of swag. BYOP. Watch for wasp nests!
