The Olivarez Ranch Gate, this is the entrance to my family’s ranch. At one time this was the main ranch and ranch house location for the Olivarez family. The family has its roots here since the late 1700’s. The Ranch was over 5,000 acres back then but over time the land was split off in forms of inheritances, or sold due to tough times. My father owns this and his cousins live in the surrounding ranches. I remember having great picnics and family gatherings during Easter, Christmas, and camping once the weather got cooler.
