How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A walk through a grassy meadow, accessible from several directions. Well-marked trails.

This cache is fairly easy to get to, though the distance you walk will depend on the direction from which you approach. You don't have to cross any private property or get within 100' of any beach houses. No bush-whacking required, but do keep your eyes peeled for poison oak. The area is safe for pets and small children. Anyone may hunt for this cache, but special bonus points go to father/son geocaching teams.

The cache is a smallish round Rubbermaid container, and contains a logbook/pen, and several fun toys. There was a disposable camera in the cache initially and you can view the visitors who photographed themselves below. Note that some of the photos show the cache location and could be spoilers.

The coordinates are pretty accurate, but the EPE in the area tends to be high, so it may not be exactly where your GPS receiver says when you first arrive.

This cache is dedicated to fathers everywhere, and mine in particular. Thanks for getting me hooked on geocaching, Dad!
