Welcome to the City of Toledo Grove Patterson Park. This is continuing my series of caches highlighting City of Toledo Parks. This park has play equipment, tennis courts, a demonstration garden area, an open field, small wooded areas and a stream. Suggested parking is at the end of Ilger Rd (by the apartment office/laundry) on the West side of the park. The park is open during daylight hours only (no night caching).
Please note the terrain rating on this cache. It is intended for able-bodied adults and older (full grown) teens. You should not need any special equipment to reach the cache, however, you will need to make an altitude adjustment before beginning your search (hence the title). Use extra caution if wet or snow covered. You are looking for a bison tube (so no room for trade items) and you must bring your own pen. I will occasionally verify the log entries and any online logs not backed up by a physical log entry will likely be deleted. Pictures of the paper log (to-date) will be accepted as proof (if you find yourself without a pen). So, make sure that you (or someone in your group) signs your name (or note a group signiture in your online log). Please return the bison tube to its current hiding position when done and DO NOT MAKE IT MORE OBVIOUS than where you found it. If anything, make it less obvious. This is the second cache in this tree as the first was muggled multiple times. I am hoping this location will have more stealth.
