Cache is located at the new parking lot of CSUEB. The parking lot just opened for the fall of 2015. The cache is a tribute to the old Warren Hall building that used to be located here before it was demolished on August 17, 2013. Warren Hall was a 13 story high building that overlooked the east bay area. The building was visible from cities throughout the Bay Area, and served as a landmark for Hayward and the East Bay. The building was demolished because it was rated as not being earthquake safe since it was built 2000 feet from the Hayward fault.
The parking lot requires a parking permit Monday through Friday but there are meters on the street. Please use stealth as there are a lot of muggles driving around looking for parking often. Coordinates might be a little bit off but let your geosense guide you.
