It's Time to Heat Things Up
Get Ready for
Unlike GeoWoodstack I & II, this event will start around 3 pm but there is no rush to be here on time and no rush to leave... camp if you want to . Come early for prime parking but if you do... be ready to help if needed... PLEASE.
Sunset will be at 5:18 pm so we will light the fire between 5:45 and 6:15 pm. You DO NOT want to miss the lighting of the fire... it can be a spectacular event... or a disaster. Either way, it will be something worth witnessing.
Here is a video of the lighting of the fire from GeoWoodstack I...
Bring some food (extra if you can) & your preference of beverage for a bonfire (I will supply a few cases of bottled water)... I will try to have tables set up for the food and I will supply the paper products (plates, napkins, forks and cups). You can cook hotdogs and roast marshmallows (once the fire dies down a bit) 'till the sun comes up if you like. Bring a tent and camp around the fire or just stay for a while and enjoy the night with friends... both old and new. Don't forget to bring a chair or a blanket or grab a spot on a log around the fire Once again, I plan to set up equipment for music so if you have talent, come prepared to share it or show it off. I plan to update the cache page with any info that may be important so check back often. Let's hope for great weather.
I may make periodic announcements concerning event modifications and additional pictures.
