Geocache Description:

Dress for wind....sometimes it blows here. (It's not a 1/1 only because it is not wheel-chair accessable).

******* February 8 by $C-KERS (234 found) You can [edit], [delete] or [permanently encrypt] this log entry. Alas and alack.....this cache is no longer. Or...there is a posibility it could be buried under piles of bulldozed debris. If anyone happens to decide they would like to go on a major cache hunt (you might need a very large shovel), and unearth this cache, please give us an e-mail. We'd love to retrieve the log book. As soon as they are done with the work they are doing up there, the cache will be replaced. Thanks to everyone who had fun with this cache. $C-Kers ****************************************** A bit of Norse Mythology will help you to discover more about the name-sake of this cache. It seemed an apt title. A short walk (less than 1/4 mile) over fairly flat terrain will gain you access to this cache. The view of Yaquina Bay and Yaquina Bay Bridge can be spectacular, especially at sunset! Dress warmly if you decide to stick around and watch it. While you're in the area, you might like to visit the many local attractions. The crab caught in this bay are delicious! ***$C-Kers checked on this cache on 10 July, 2002. It is in really great shape, with lots of cool stuff in it.*** *****Update on condition of cache..... October 3 by $C-KERS Aegir's is there. We checked it last night (2nd October, 2002). Good luck.....you might actually step right on it. %%%December 7, 2002.....the cache is still there and doing well. It was a little damp inside, but is now dry and a couple of items have been added to it. Good luck cache-ing. $C-Kers.%%%
