Geocache Description:

This series has been put out there in the spirit of the Rugby World Cup of 2015 played in England.

NAMIBIA

The Namibian Rugby Union team, better known as the Welwitchias, have been ranked as number 20 for the Rugby World Cup 2015. Until independence, players from Namibia were also eligible to represent South Africa, with Namibian-born Springboks including Jan Ellis and, more recently, Percy Montgomery.

The Welwitchias has the most successive World Cup losses - (15). The average distance that the Namibian players have to travel to squad practices is a 230km round trip, since they all have normal day jobs, ranging from Engineers, to farmers and construction workers to doctors.
