For the last several years Groundspeak has invited geocachers to make and submit creative, short films about geocaching (submission video). Tonight's event is a very rare opportunity to view the films of the 16 finalists from this year's Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF). The GIFF event was originally to be held at the BlockParty in Seattle this August, but it was rained out. In response, Groundspeak is allowing the film reel to be shown world-wide at select events over "GIFF Weekend" (Nov 5-8, 2015). How cool is that?

Come join your fellow Southeastern Massachusetts Geocachers in our ninth monthly meet & greet as we watch the reel of films entered into the contest.

Time: 5 - 8 pm

Additional Info: We will have a projector set up to show the films in the large community room. The event officially begins at 5, with the showing of the films beginning at 6, and the whole thing wrapping up at 8. You can stay for as long as you'd like, and you are not obligated to watch any of the films, nor is there any cost of admission. 

Please log a "will attend" so we have an idea of how many chairs to set up ahead of time. Thank you very much, and see you there!
