Song Of Unspoken Tender Hearts
Through twisted shades of dappled grey
Enter souls forlorn
Varied, jumbled thoughts do sway
From memories rugged, torn
Upon each lingering, passing whim
Each waiting for the morn
Here arrives awaited love
Vowed to only one
Ever seeking light above
In searching for night’s sun
Regret beyond and hope before, love’s finally begun
Rare they speak each other’s name
Etched in each one’s soul
Forever try wild heart’s to tame
Voiced as morn bell’s toll
The time is now, the place is here – a pleasant country stroll
Either path would be to take
Not the track behind
It’s to the fore – the way we make
Each step new worlds we find
Here in the present, yet time’s past – each moment to remind
Early search in vain is lost
For parted souls to meet
Viewed only once yet at what cost
Forever wandering feet
Request to walk where once was loved - in tender memories sweet
So here they’ll stay, enjoying now
In gardens lush and green
Elated conversations how
One longs for love now seen
Erased the pain, the past is gone – for love’s first king and queen
Ever A Simple Thought
One stone thrown
Rippled pond
Nucleus emitting circular waves
O’er depths untold
Engraved for only a second
Nameless breezes
Fly silent
Eastbound to the morning’s start
Nodden boughs
Show honour to the river’s edge
Eager beams of sunlight
Inch ever forward
Not looking behind
Each creating more of the day
Every dark corner giving up it’s gloom
Faithful clouds carry along
Valuable drops
In storms or showers
Floods the ground
Vale or glen drinks
Over hills soar
Eagles majestic
Nigh to earths’ heart
Immeasurable beauty
Echo through ages past
Unshaken sun
Obliged to heat
Educing life
Vanquishing night’s moment
Narrating life’s script
