U blizini Rovinja nalazi se još jedno neprocjenjivo bogatstvo Istre – Maklavun. To je grobnica stara oko 4.000 godina pokraj sela Šošići. Grobnica je datirana po položaju pokopanog tijela (zgrčeni položaj) te nalazima keramike i brončane oštrice pokopane s pokojnikom. U pogrebnu komoru (tholos) vodi ulazni hodnik (dromos) čiji položaj intrigira vodeće stručnjake s područja astronomije. Naime dromos je točno postavljen u smjeru zimskog solsticija tako da se cijeli tumul smatra prastarim solarnim opservatorijem.

In der Nähe von Rovinj gibt es eine weitere unbezahlbarer Schatz von Istrien - Maklavun. Das ist ein 4000 Jahre altes Grab nahe dem Dorf Šošići. Das Grab wurde durch die Positionen der vergrabenen Körper und der Ergebnisse der Keramik und Bronzeklingen die mit dem Verstorbenen begraben waren datiert. In die Grabkammer (Tholos) führt ein eingang (Dromos), dessen Position Intrigiert die führenden Experten auf dem Gebiet der Astronomie.
