Hogshead Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

2ndwitch: I am removing this series mostly due to the amount of abuse poor Firkin Point gets from the rubbish-leaving-heavy-drinking-bbqing types - it is not safe for me to walk my dogs there due to the rubbish and dumped bones and food. Stay safe.

Geocache Description:

Nearly the first, or, of course, nearly the last, in a series of caches round Firkin Point.

A hogshead is a beer container that will hold fiftyfour gallons.

There is a lovely walk, heading both north and south from the carpark at Firkin Point. And the name 'firkin' just kinda begged for a series of caches. All are cliplock boxes, three small ones, and two larger. The discerning 'cacher will no doubt consider adding GCTP26 to their itenerary alongside this series, seeing as it sits nicely in the middle!
