Lincoln Logs were invented in 1916 by John Lloyd Wright. Originally made of redwood, the toy was changed in the 1970s to be made entirely of plastic, but after poor consumer reception, the toy was was soon reverted back to wood. In 1999, Lincoln Logs were inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame.
This cache is placed about 150 feet off a trail in the Wise Road Property - a 518 acre Commerce Township Park. The cache container is a small lock-n-lock, hidden within an unconventional container. There is room for some small trade items and trackables. Bring your own pen!
