Freshwater oasis Traditional Cache

This lake is part of a collection of complex dune lakes which are internationally significant. Spend some time walking around the lake after you've had a successful treasure hunt. The dune lakes are homes to a number of threatened animals and plants, such as the dwarf inanga (Galaxis gracillis), the North Island fernbird, and the marsh fern (Thelypteris confluens).
