One of the highlights of this connector trail is the wetland boardwalk that stretches out below a canopy of mature red alder and cedar. Brackted by sword fern, salal and horsetail, this is a wild domain of towhees, juncos and pileated woodpeckers. You may also share the trail with a deer or three!
