After finding some caches with a few boys that I mentor, I decided we were ready to hide our own. The opportunity to create a special way to share our joy of playing and exploring in our favorite woods through geocaching was a great opportunity.
We experienced many rainy hikes and found some unusual places to hang out to stay dry. The boys had never made a survival shelter and one day we built one over a rock overhang. They wanted to hide our cache near there with the hopes of bringing others to enjoy their shelter too.
