Geocache Description:

This is the forth in a series of caches hidden to guide people to some of the locations used in the iconic British film Kes (1969) and other points of interest.

Skiers Spring Wood Brick Works and later Milton Pottery were close to this site.

This circular route takes you through Skiers Spring Wood, to Tankersley Old Hall, up to Hoyland Lowe Stand and back. It is a mixture of trails and footpaths. Please take care when crossing busy roads. You are looking for a small box.

The Dearne Valley Landscape Partnership is working with local geocachers to develop a number of routes. If you have any ideas or comments then please get in touch.
