Lost Land Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CacheBandicoots315: After numerous attempts to keep this fun cache going, it is getting muggled too often, contents dumped, log books stolen. I'm going to archive the cache and free up the space for someone else to try. Thanks for all the visits over the years hopefully people will still come to this great little hideaway in the middle of the surrounding urban landscape.

Geocache Description:

(Cache Originally placed by Marissa, A-Man and Argyle) Over the Wooden bridge, through the tunnel , past three waterfalls to the cache, it's in the "Lost Land"

** This is supposed to be for the kids and families. If you're tempted to leave Rocks, Bottle Caps, old Chewing Tobacco containers....PLEASE REFRAIN!! Lets keep this fun Equal value items only. No junk please.*** PLEASE PARK Here: N 43 07.729 W077 31.328. Neighbors are great if you follow the rules. Park between the red signs ONLY. Trust me it makes the trek even better (and your car will be there when you get back). NOTE: There is a new access point off of the South side of Penfield Road near the Landing road intersection, but you miss the tunnel and the falls unless you explore the park and I strongly suggest you do. The cache is an easy hide, about twenty five feet off the trail. Please hide it as you found it as this area gets alot of use. Cache is a 50cal Ammo box with Geocache sticker and Gold paint. This place is amazing. There are "Indian trails" up to the surrounding neighborhoods, they tend to be steep and slippery. Lost land is only fully appreciated if you park at the co-ords above and walk in. The family that lives in the lost land is great but respect their property. There is a good groomed trail to the cache site Parents this is a great family thing to do but please watch your kids as there are several very steep areas that have been carved out and some of the trails are undercut. There is also moving water, This cache was placed during a heavy rain and the waterfalls were really flowing! The kids will love it. Thanks to the Genessee Land Trust and the Town for keeping the Lost Land undeveloped.
