RWC 2015: Samoa Traditional Cache

Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

This series has been put out there in the spirit of the Rugby World Cup of 2015 played in England.

SAMOA


The Samoan Rugby Team also known as Manu Samoa (named after a famous Samoan Warrior), is in Pool B with South Africa for RWC 2015. Their key player is Ken Pisi. Samoa has played 6 Rugby World Cup tournaments to date (since 1991) and has reached the quarter final round twice (1991 and 1995).

In the 2007 World Cup, Samoa had 14 All Blacks in their team while the All Blacks had 5 Samoans in their World Cup team. Rugby was introduced in Samoa in the 1920's. Today they have been ranked 12th for the 2015 World Cup and are coached by Stephen Betham.
