This is a cache for my Daughter's friend Ellie, who comes caching with us and it's her first 'hide' Please make sure Cache is replaced as you found it.
Also, as it's near a brook, please watch any children with you around the water.
Hopwood Woods LNR (Hopwood Woods Nature Reserve) is made up of a number of smaller woodland areas around the grounds of Hopwood Hall.
This provides a woodland haven for birds and other wildlife whilst the informal paths allow visitors to wander through the woods enjoying their peace and tranquillity.
Hopwood Clough is a narrow valley formed by Trub Brook. The woodland is a mix of species planted as parkland and formal gardens for the Hall itself. Tree species are dominated by beech and sycamore, with native species such as ash,oak and birch scattered throughout the area.
As it's October when I placed these 3 caches there is a flashing Halloween badge in each cache.
Co-ordinates were taken on a phone with Geocache placer.
