Geocache Description:

This series has been put out there in the spirit of the Rugby World Cup of 2015 played in England.

FIJI

In Fiji, the main sport is Rugby Union. Known as the Flying Fijians, the Fiji Rugby Union Team has been ranked 9th in the World for the Rugby World Cup 2015. They have played in 6 Rugby World Cups thus far, with their best performance being reaching the quarter finals in both the 1987 and 2007 World Cups.

The most notable Fiji-born players are the two All Blacks Joe Rokocoko and Sitiveni Sivivatu and the Wallaby Lote Tuiqiri. The Flying Fijians perform a war dance, known as "cibi" before each match, much like the All Blacks' "haka". They have approx. 80 000 registered rugby players from a population of 950 000.
