Brevard County has undergone many changes geographically since it's founding in 1854. The original area was called Mosquito County and extended from modern southern day Merritt Island to Jupiter Inlet and farther west then Lake Okeechobee. Most of the current borders were established in 1905 with the last change occuring in 1969.
Most of the corners of modern day Brevard County will not be accessible without leaving the county itself. To reach them all will require significant hiking, driving or other modes of travel. Have fun with the journey and enjoy all that Florida has to offer.
LEGACY NOTE: This was originally part of a series called The Four Corners of Brevard. The code on the inside of the log book can be ignored as the series is now completed
