All the footpaths which lead to the picturesque Maenporth Beach have caches hidden on them, apart from this one so I thought I would rectify things. This path is fairly easy walking, probably suitable for an off roading kid's buggy. Great for dogs too.
If you park at Maenporth Beach (£2 to park most of the year, may be more in summer), you can access this path by heading up the path to the left of the restaurant - if you are feeling flush, they do really nice food. There is also the beach cafe which is open for most of the year. From October to Easter the beach is dog friendly This is a safe beach for swimming, bearing in mind weather conditions etc .
There are various routes you can take, heading from Maenporth there is the lovely Bluebell wood series of caches or the other way, the Pokemon series. These can all be made into circular routes of varying lengths and you could combine so of the other caches placed in and around Mawnan Smith.
To start at the other end of this path, there is some roadside parking in Carlidnack Road. Please be sensible where you park and don't obstruct any drives.
