QR codes have become increasingly popular these days for smart phones to read and interpret images, text, or even Geocache coordinates. They are bar codes scanned with your phones camera in two dimensions rather than the more traditional linear style code you often see on packaged goods at your local grocery or department store. If you don’t already have an app on your phone to scan these codes you can typically download one for free from your providers app store.
This multi-cache is as stated in 2 parts. The posted coordinates will bring you to stage one; once you locate the hidden part of stage one, you will find one of these QR codes that when scanned will display the coordinates for the final stage. We felt this would be a fun way to integrate your smart phones technology with the Geocaching community.
FIRST STAGE: You will find a cache that has a QR Code. Scan that QR Code to reveal the final stage's coordinates. There is no log to sign as you will sign the final stage's log. Please place the first stage back as you found it.
FINAL STAGE: The coordinates are revealed to the final stage from the QR Code. These coordinates are accurate within 16 ft. You will be looking for a small "container" which has a micro container inside it with log only. Please DO NOT remove the small "container" from its location as you can retrieve the micro cache without disturbing the small "container"! BYOP! As always...watch out for muggles!
PLEASE....MAKE SURE TO PLACE THE CACHE BACK EXACTLY AS YOU FOUND IT! THANK YOU!
