The landowners know this cache is here, but that being said.YOU DONT NEED TO BE ANY CLOSER THAN 30 FEET TO ANY HOUSE IN THE AREA. THIS CACHE IS NOT PLACED VERY NEAR ANY BUILDINGS.
Placed as my very first cache, just after relocating from Portland, Oregon to Belfast, Maine. All along my drive from the East coast to the West, I was geocaching. What struck me as sad was all the caches I found that either had nothing in terms of swag, or it seemed like people had picked up whatever they could find stuck down in the seat of their car and put it in the cache. This game is fun if everyone plays it the same way: Don't feel compelled to bring something along to trade if you don't want to, but if you don't PLEASE DON'T JUST LOOT ALL THE SWAG IN THE CACHE! What's even worse are peoples logs which say "There wasnt' anything good in the cache, so I didn't take anything." well...ok but why not leave something? 5$ at the dollar store will buy you a lot of funny things to leave in a cache. just saying.. I placed this one with the assistance of my friend Claymoore Wales, and its his first hide as well. I'll do my best to keep goodies in here if people do their best to keep it up as well..Happy hunting!!! Congrats to 4Emmerts for the ftf on my first hide! sorry about the neighbors!!
