Have you ever lost something important to you and then stumbled upon it years later? That is the story of this cache!
Many years ago this was the final location of a large multi-cache known as "Kearney Park Tour." That cache took the cacher to every park throughout Kearney where they would either find a physical container with coordinates to the next park/stage, or they would find a "virtual" cache with clues to lead to the next park/stage.
As misfortune would have it a tornado ripped through the area the same year that cache was placed which devistated the area the final container was located in. While the repair process was going on, the final container location was removed and replaced, which prompted the Park Tour cache to be archived.
Flash forward many years later and a very pleasant discovery has been made...the final container wasn't removed after all. The area was destroyed and repaired, but somehow the container made it's way back to the same location!
This cache is being posted as a memorial to all things that were once lost.
