EPIC = Exploring Pender Island Caching
Not to be confused with the "Saturna View" beach access trail, this extension of the William Walker Trail will take you to an excellent view of Saturna Island and spectacular Brown Ridge below Mount Warburton Pike. You can also get a glimpse of the Saturna Vineyard if you know where to look.
Pull off to the ocean side of the road where there is a wide shoulder that can host 5 or 6 vehicles. There is also a bike rack at the trail head. Wander down the trail through a salal and cedar forest. Just before the second to last set of stairs before the beach, you'll come to a log that has been chain-sawed through in order for the trail to pass. Start your search here.
