At the time of placement there are some excellent geocaches in this area. Unfortunatly, this cache isn't one of them. It's quite a boring little micro but in a nice spot with a great view of the limestone uplift 'te mata' or 'the face', the natural feature that forms the 'head of Rongokako, the giant' as can be seen from many parts of the surrounding areas, particularly central Hastings. So yes, from here you look up the giant's nose!
