Die Leute von Bellwald werden scherzhaft Hasen genannt. Hasen sind erwiesenermassen schnell, können im Lauf Haken schlagen und ihren Verfolger damit zur Verzweiflung bringen. Im Gegensatz zu den Eseln, die stehen bleiben, gibt der Hase lieber nach. Hasen sind eben schlau und leben deshalb gut und länger. Sie machen aber auch Scherze. Obwohl sie etwas scheu sind, gucken sie auch über die Grenze und treiben dort ihre Spässe. Und manchmal verstecken sie fiese Geocaches. Darum aufgepasst im und ums Bellwalder Geocaching Hasenland!

The inhabitants of Bellwald are nicknamed as hares. Hares are known as fast runners, they are able to run in a zick zack way and therefore can bring a purchaser to crazyness. In contrary to donkeys which are famous for being stubborn, hares gives in in a diplomatic way. Hares are sly and this leads them to a longer life. But they are also famous for playing tricks. In spite of being a little bit shy they look across the border and like to have fun everywhere. And sometimes they hide evil geocaches. Therefore, be aware that you are in the area of the Bellwalder hares!
