The cache is not at the posted coordinates. This is where you will start your journey to find the Pirates Lost Treasure. To find what you seek read the historical sign and then begin your journey,

Apparently Indians were not the only thing early settlers of Fort Yargo had to contend with. There were pirates too! Legend has it one such pirate met his demise when he tried to make Fort Yargo his home. Before he died he hid some "BOOTY" in the woods. To find the "BOOTY" you must decipher the coordinates. Upon arrival at the parking coordinates have a look around and pay particular attention to the year the Fort was built according to the Historical Marker.

N CC A8 ABD

W 8C BC 98D

A = 2ND Number of the year the Fort was built minus 2

B= 4TH Number in the year the Fort was built plus 1

C= The last number in the year the Fort was built

D = The 2ND number in the year the Fort was built minus 1

When you arrive at the cache you will find it has a lock on it. You must think like a pirate! If you would like to share and possibly trade "BOOTY" the information you need is right here on the cache page. For the first to find you will find a hand sewn pouch tied with a leather string with "Tools of the Trade" inside it .Good Luck on your journey and I hope you leave Fort Yargo  richer than when you came here.

Congratulations to Bicardi151 on being the FTF! Enjoy the loot Mrs. Bicardi!
