Eagle's Folly Buttress is the highest cliff of Aasvoëlkrans and was also the first rock climbing route in Montagu. It's called Eagle's Folly because when the leader of the opening party had to climb over a nest in a chimney, there was a young bird in there. It squawked and squawked and then took off between the leader's leg for what was probably its first flight. The abandoned nest was still there when he repeated the route some time later.
Fortunately to find this cache you don't need any climbing gear and you don't need to vacate any birds from their nests. From the top of Cogman's Buttress, go down towards the saddle at the base of Eagle's Folly Buttress and start making your way up to the top. The climb is quite a bit steeper than what it was for Cogman's Buttress, but keep at it and you'll eventually make it. You'll know you're on the right path when you see a tree that you need to go over in order to reach the lower peak and the cache.

Remember to make note of the word in the back of the logbook. You will need it in order to find the final cache in the series.
