
This koppie looks very much like the head of a baboon seen from the side, hence the name Bobbejaanskop. This is also the highest point along the traverse at an altitude of 710m.
The walk from the previous cache to this one is probably the easiest section of the traverse. Just follow the ridge and perform a short climb near the end to get on top of the baboon's head. The difficult part will be to get down again. The descent route is very steep with lots of loose rocks so take it slow. About half-way down the face there is a dangerous ledge where you need to be extra careful. Refer to the waypoint in order to safely get past this part.
