Geocache Description:

A kid-friendly cache placed in honour of our first grandchild, who loves geocaching.

UPDATE: WE HAVE TO RECOMMEND NOT PLACING TRAVEL BUGS AND OTHER TRACKABLES IN OUR CACHE. A NUMBER OF THESE HAVE DISAPPEARED OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS AND WE DO NOT WISH FOR ANY MORE TO BE LOST TO PLAY - WE ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE! WE HOPE YOU STILL WILL COME VISIT OUR CACHE.

One of our favourite tucked-away neighbourhoods in Halifax. Sir Charles Tupper, who served as Canada's 6th Prime Minister, had a home near here, as did Sir Robert Borden, Canada's 8th Prime Minister. His picture is on Canada's $100 bill (sorry, no examples in the cache!). You can see a picture of his home here. http://www.historicplaces.ca/en/rep-reg/place-lieu.aspx?id=10459

Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, who was Queen Victoria's seventh child and Canada's Governor-General, has two streets named after him in the neighbourhood as well.

This should be an easy find, good for children. Please note that despite appearances, this cache is on public property. The private property ends at the big trees with the slacklines. The property owners are aware of the cache.
