Mercer County History Mystery Cache

**The cache is NOT at the listed coordinates.**

The coordinates will bring you to the Mercer County Diamond.  Where you will need to check out the surrounding area to obtain the final coordinates.

The cache is located in Mercer Civilian Cemetery, a half mile away and can be walked to, if you like.  If you are driving, please note that the driveway to the cemetery is located off of Rt 258. The entrance off of Rt 19 is blocked.

**With any cemetery cache, please respect your surroundings, and no night caching.

To solve the puzzle and find the cache, please answer the following questions and fill in the blanks for each corresponding letter.

A - C can be found on the nearby mural.

A = The number of men standing by cars minus the number of telephone poles

B = The number of cars minus the number of horses.

C = The number of letters on the top of the front of the building the mural was painted on plus the last digit of the year the mural was completed.

D - F can be found on the courthouse grounds.

D = At the World War 2 Memorial, the number of letters in Medal of Honor recipient, Ssgt. Kefurt's first name. (Hint: It is close to the brick wall)

E = At the Mercer County Civil War Memorial, the number of statues of soldiers plus 5.

F = At the Vietnam Conflict Memorial stone, the number of men who died from Mercer Co. with the first initial "J".
