This is No24 in a series of caches some will be at Sporting Venues others may not.

 

The Brownlow Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.

It i a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the Australian Football League

during the regular season.

This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.

The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 wit the exception of an intermission from 1942 to 1945 due to World War 2.

Players are ineligible to win the medal if they have been suspended for on field offences.

The 1956 Brownlow Medal was won by Peter Box from the Footscray [Bulldogs] Football Team.

He had 22 votes.

 

Cache maybe difficult to get if there is a sporting event on.

The cache is a small screw top plastic container painted black. It has a logbook and a couple small swaps in it. BYO pen.

Please replace cache to hiding spot and cover.

Please be aware of muggles.
