Seemed strange that there were no caches on this fairly busy exit off I-90. Thought it would be fun to place a cache here to give travelers a reason to stop and stretch their legs a bit. This area recently experienced a wildland fire so it is hard to tell what the terrain will look like once everything grows back next summer. For now, this pile of rocks clearly needed a cache. As with most caches in the Columbia Basin in the middle of sagebrush... be aware of rattlesnakes, ticks, spiders, and any other critter that bites or stings. We have all kinds. I placed some swag in the cache. Could be a fun kids cache. Do be cautious crawling around in the rocks.
