Maraetai Hall was erected on labour day 1926. The boast of Maraetai Hall was that it was built in a day. The foundations and the floor were put down and then it took one day to complete. It is used by the community for a wide variety of activities including indoor bowls, Tai Kwondo & a play center. In the past it was used as a cinema. A beautiful Pohutukawa & a huge Pheonix Palm add to the looks of this Hall. Looking North you can have great views of the sea & the Maraetai Boat club. Take a few minutes to take in the view & enjoy the beach.
The cache is a camoed 20 ml pill container so BYOP.
Please don't overtighten the container when refitting it & do take your time when putting the cache back in place.
