So, Gulfdassie and I were out for an evening drive to maintain some of our hides that had become damaged. Muggles abounded so decided to go for a quick drive while we waited to "see where the road goes". This would explain why we ended up at 21:30 near this location (not in a 4x4) in the darkness wondering whether this really was a sensible idea!
Before turning around and heading back, we had to place a quick cache of course!
Imagine our disappointment when we found the muggles still hadn't moved and had to postpone the replacement of the nearby cache for another day! Made placing a cache even more worthwhile and thankfully didn't get the car stuck or damaged so "all's well that ends well". We did not have a 4x4 although it would be advisable, and certainly a vehicle with raised ground clearance would be beneficial!
One day we may follow the track on through the gap in the fence further down - but in daylight hours!
