The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, Eastbourne There is little documented history on this church and the building and I have only been able to get limited information: The building was purchased by the Mormon church in 2000 and is still going. Originally this was a purpose built Victorian school named “St Saviour’s National School for boys and girls” the building is over 140 years old and is an excellent example of schools being built in this time being structurally very similar to a church, you will notice many similarities externally when you look round. The building in it’s time has been a Theological College, then used by the local education authority as a training facility and then for a brief period in the 1970s and early '80s it was the photography and screen printing annex of the College of Art & Design.
