This cemetery boasts a history that is worthy of sharing; the community has done so with the erection of the Historical Marker at the entrance.

Interesting to note is that the historical marker for the cemetery claims that 10 Civil War soldiers are buried here. The other multi caches in the cemetery take you to 11 markers for Civil War soldiers. Two of the soldiers did die during the war, one of these may be buried elsewhere.
