This viewpoint is one of the most popular for tourists and locals alike. Looking towards the village and across the bay you'll see Gairloch, stretching from the smaller settlements of Achtercairn, across to Strath and finally Lonemore. Turn your head the other side to see Gairloch Beach and Golf Course which could be mistaken for the tropics even outside the busy summer season.

The War Memorial lists the names of those from the local area who gave their lives during World War I. They are listed beneath the community they came from and it is striking to spot the groups of surnames from these different places. The memorial was, prior to 2009, sited across the road but was moved to this more accessible location giving us the spot today.
There are spaces for several cars in the car park and a few benches so you can enjoy the scenery. The geocache is a small tupperware container with space for a few trackables. There is a logbook, pen and pencil along with a few treasures for kids if they find it quickly. It's a busy spot so be sure to watch out for muggles! Replace it with care, preserving the local "feature"!
The geocache replaces one that was previously here from April 2014-May 2015.
