Geocache Description:

Mountain Top Medley #10- Doo-Wop
This is the Mountain Top Medley geo-art series! It takes you on a tour of the beautiful Catoctin Mountain Area. In order to solve each geocache, you need to answer a question about a genre of music. There are 20 geocaches in the series, 2 bonus caches, a letterbox hybrid and a CITO event to kick it off.

These should all be easy finds. Most will be micros and smalls, but there will be a few regulars. They are all close by one another. I recommend solving all of the puzzles first and attempting them all at once, otherwise you may find yourself going back and forth a bit...

Notice that these caches are in the woods and are around poisonous plants, ticks, bugs, etc... Come prepared and watch out for ticks and snakes!

Doo-wop is a genre of music that was developed in African-American communities in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Baltimore, Newark, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Detroit, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles in the 1940s, achieving mainstream popularity in the 1950s and early 1960s. Built upon vocal harmony, doo-wop was one of the most mainstream, pop-oriented R&B styles of the time.
