Geocache Description:

Look at the view to the North, isn't it just fantastic!

As you are up here, look at the tower in the backround.  It houses a 2 meter, Amateur Radio Repeater on 146.985 mHz.  I use to have one here on 440 mHz.  It also houses part of the Franklin County Fire and Police system repeaters, which are on 460.400 mHz and 460.350 mHz.  Hey, that information would be handy with a mystery cache cache in the Hadley/Charlemont area. There is a radio station antenna on the very top. NOAA has a weather transmitter on 162.425 MHz as well. It is all private property, so please do not trespass to get close to the tower, you can see it fine from the public road.  As you look around to the North, you are looking into two states, Vermont and New Hampshire.  You are on a public road, please pull over as there is enough room and enjoy the area.
