Budapest egyik legmagasabb épülete az 1967-ben épült, 64 méter magas Hotel Budapest. 15 emelet magas, henger alakú formája meghatározza Buda városképét. A legfelső emeleten déli irányban lehet rálátni a városra, az utcáról betérve is elérhető ez a lehetőség.
A láda megszerzéséhez két dolgot kell megfigyelned:
1. A kezdő koordináta a szálloda főbejáratához vezet. A főbejárat lépcsőjét kinyúló tető fedi, ezen láthatsz több, gömb alakú lámpát az íves díszítésű építési elemen. Számold meg a gömbizzókat, ez lesz az "A" számod.
2. Az épületbe belépve jobb oldalt találod a recepciós pultot, mögötte a szobákhoz tartozó kulcsokkal. A Körszálló az egyik utolsó szálloda Budapesten, mely ilyen régies típusú szobakulcsokat használ. Számold meg, mennyi van belőlük (vagy kérdezd meg a személyzetet), ez lesz a "B" számod. Segítségképpen: ugyanannyi kulcs van, ahány szoba.
3. Az "A" és "B" tudatában használd a következő egyenletet, hogy megtaláld a ládát:
északi koordináta = ((30603 + B) - A) - 145
keleti koordináta = 00780 - (B-A) + 191
4. Ha jól számoltál, a koordináta egy olyan helyhez vezet 230 méter távolságra, ahonnan szép rálátásod nyílik a Körszállóra.
One of Budapest's tallest buildings is the 64m high Hotel Budapest, constructed in 1967. This four star, 15 story, cylindrical shape is an integral part of the urban Buda landscape. You are permitted to take the elevator to the 15th floor, which offers a great view of the city.
To get the cache, you have to observe two things:
1. The starting coordinates lead you to the main entrance of the hotel. If you look above the stairs of the entrance, you'll see that they are covered by a roof, and along the arcs at the edge of this roof, there are some spherical lightbulbs. Count the bulbs, this will be your number "A".
2. Step into the building, at your right, you'll see the admittance desk, and behind it, a case full of keys. Hotel Budapest is one of the last hotels to use these vintage keychains. Count the number of keys there (or ask someone at the desk), this will be your number "B". Hint: there are as many keys as there are rooms in the hotel.
3. Using "A" and "B", use the following simple equations to find the coordinates of the cache:
Northern coordinate = ((30603 + B) - A) - 145
Eastern coordinate = (00780 - (B-A)) + 191
4. If you counted right, the coordinates lead you to a place about 230 meters away, from where you'll have a nice view of the Hotel.
