Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache in a quiet public reserve in Sylvania.

This cache is at the northern end of Corea Street. It is a "twin cache" to SOUTH COREA and is part of a group of other non-related cache that have recently been placed along or near Corea Street. No visa is required to access this one!

Corea Street is about 2km long and passes through the suburbs of Miranda and Sylvania in the Sutherland Shire in Southern Sydney. In the south it begins at the intersection with Garnet Rd and heads in a northerly direction towards the Georges River. It crosses Box Rd alongside the Corea St fields ( where you can seek out "Super Mario Preferred Position", "Mikeys Hide" and "Gorillas In The Midst") and continues towards the Princes Hwy. Continuing north along Corea St you can look for "Petros The Rock" near the intersection with Holt Rd. Crossing the Princes Hwy next to Our Lady Of The Way Catholic Church, it ends at the path where the journey to this cache begins. Fortunately there are no border controls to reach this cache, just strategic manoeuvring as you attempt to make your way across the busy Princes Highway (if travelling by foot)!

The path towards the cache starts at the top of the hill and involves walking down 125 steps (count them!) to a small open space with great views overlooking the Georges River.

There is bushland either side of the path which is overseen by regular volunteers. Private homes are beyond the bushland. Please do not venture off the path. There is no need to leave the path or stairs until you reach the bottom, but take in the sights as you continue down to the water. Once you reach the open space you should have muggle-free access to the cache. There are private properties adjoining this space, so please stay within the GZ confines. There is no need to go over any fences or into the water and rocks below the the grassed area at the water's edge.

The cache is a small 200mL sistema container with room for small trackables and swaps. A pencil is included for logging but it is suggested you BYOP just in case. Once you have logged your find, take the time to sit by the water and admire the view as boats and yachts float past.

REMEMBER: North Corea is best Corea!

There is a FTF mini certificate & wooden geocoin for the FTF!

Congratulations on Pipes_down_under for FTF
