Located just south of the Ottawa General Hospital, Lynda Lane Park is a green space that always has a lot going on:
- the pathways are always busy with pedestrians and cyclists;
- dogs enjoy the wide-open spaces; and,
- the playing fields are well-used, with teams playing cricket or “Ultimate,” or enthusiasts enjoying cross-country skiing, practising their golf swings, piloting remote-controlled model aircraft or flying kites.
Like the park, there’s a lot going on a GZ -- so many places for a cache to hide and so many options to check. All of them are public so there’s no need to disturb private property.
Use your judgement when searching for, retrieving and signing the log for this one so that you can continue to uphold geocaching’s good name by treating the neighbourhood as if it was your own. This is a quiet residential spot so discretion is required. In this regard, please do not park on Oxbow Road: there’s plenty of parking on Lynda Lane.
Please be sure to carefully replace the hide exactly as found and avoid any spoilers in your log related to how you found the cache. If you like taking images of your caching experience do not photograph the cache container and consider using the logbook instead.
