Baníkovské Saddle is located on the main ridge of the Western Tatras, between peaks Baníkov and Pachoľa. It is the highest mountain saddle of the entire Western Tatras. At the same time it is also an important crossroads of hiking trails - four marked trails are passing here. Saddle separates Spálená and Parichvost valley, providing magnificent views to both. Baníkovské Saddle is also starting point for climbing to both summits - Baníkov and Pachoľa. The starting point for tours to Baníkovské Saddle can be Žiarska valley, Zverovka, Tatliakova cottage or Adamcuľa.

In order to protect the nature and to ensure your safety, hiking tracks in the mountains are not accessible to public between 1.November and 15.June. Enjoy your hiking in the daytime, between an hour after sunrise and hour before sunset.
