Cache is located just a few off a dirt trail. During the peak of the growth season some of the grasses will tickle your legs as you walk on through. Of course the skeeters can be thick at times as well.
The cache is a homemade special designed to blend in and go unnoticed even if you are staring directly at it. It is our first attempt at this kind of cache. Not going to leave too much of a hint as we are hoping this one will be one of our harder to find caches. Very small container so bring a pen or your favorite writing stick. I grabbed the wrong box one the way out, so I will have to come back over later and place the swag box nearby. I'll update the cache page once that happens. Since the swag box won't impact the cache we are saying this one is ready to be found. Some will struggle with this one, others will not. Happy hunting!
Congrats to Lonnie of Karen-Lonnie on the FTF!!

NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy. Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
