Valley View Forest is located just behind Cannon Point - a moderately demanding walk on a well formed track, in the hills to the north of Upper Hutt. It is 10 km long and passes through private land and Greater Wellington's Akatarawa forest. It is great for walkers, runners and mountain bikers, so you never know who will be coming around the bend next.
This is part of a series of caches around great Wellington hill climbs. You need to gather clues from each cache in the series in order to solve a final puzzle series, so make sure you take note of every piece of information you are asked to collect. You will need it for the final series.
At the published co-ordinates is an information board. You will need to collect some information from this board to find the cache. It is also the starting point for Welly Climbs: Cannon Point.
