Geocache Description:

Let us never forget the events of a September morning when our freedom was put to the test.

While driving around town, I noticed this unusual spot for such a memorial, and knew I had to show you all.  I will never forget where I was that horrible Sept morning.  I was at work, when my boss came over to tell me about a plane that had crashed into a building in NY.  We had only heard about this through the grapevine.  A little while later he return to elaborate on the story, and tell me about the second plane.  Now we worked in a factory, where weonly had radios to go off of, and there were no smartphones then.  We all stopped work, to the owners dismay, and all I could think of was to get a hold of all my family and see where they were and if they were ok - even though none of them were traveling.  We ended up working the rest of the day, but when I got home that night, I was glued to the TV for hours upon hours of reports of the horros of the day.

I will never forget that day, and all the changes to our freedoms that followed.  I know you won't either. if you can, tell us where you were that morning in your log.

God Bless the USA!!!
